I am a Zimbabwean national, born and raised in Zimbabwe. I am married to Lisette and together we are serving God in this valley. Before I joined YWAM, I served in the youth and children’s ministry in the local church. In 2010, I did my discipleship training school in Namibia. It was during that time while on an outreach amongst the Himba people that God shared His heart for the nations to me. After my Discipleship Training School, I went back to Zimbabwe where I served in the local church. In March 2011 I joined the YWAM Frontier Missions Centre and served in the area of communications and missions mobilisation. In February 2013 I visited a missionary couple who were serving in the Gwembe valley. During my first visit, God touched my heart for these people and for a while, I was so confident that my involvement in the valley was to come alongside the existing missionaries and support them through mobilising prayer support for them. A few months later, I responded to God’s call to go and serve.
My passion is to see a discipleship and development movement started and spreading in this valley and all the people reached by the Gospel of truth and serving the Lord in complete liberty. I would like to see a great Revival and restoration taking place in the valley through various practical initiatives. I would also want to use my practical skills in sharing the gospel in more practical ways and bring hope to many who have lost hope for life. When I started working in this valley, there has always been an outcry for development as all the locals feel neglected. I believe in a God who is able to restore and bring the much needed development here as people come to know Him.
I believe this vision cannot be achieved without the support and partnership from family and friends, I therefore would like to invite you to stand and partner with us in restoring value in this valley. You can be involved as a prayer partner. You can also be involved as a financial supporter and help us meet our daily upkeep and needs while serving in this valley.
